Membership Agreement (Version 20th July 2025)
Loddon Players Membership Agreement (Applies to all existing and new members as at 1st September 2024)
(Subject to the terms and conditions of membership as set out in currently published version of Loddon Players Constitution referred to below as “the Constitution” – see attached)
By receipt of this this document, the Membership Agreement is entered into by Loddon Players and you, the Member and comes into effect from 1st September 2024 or the date shown below which ever is the later date:
No subscription is required, it being considered that in furthering the Aims and Objectives of Loddon Players, Members give freely of their time, talents and skills, not only for their own benefit but for the benefit of others.
1. Member Benefits
1.1 Members may participate in Loddon Players productions, by performing – subject to a successful audition and part offered/accepted, backstage, front of house and any other production based activities.
1.2 Members have a right to vote at general meetings of Loddon Players.
1.3 Members may submit themselves to be elected to the committee and if elected, serve as a committee member for the term of office as set out in the Constitution.
1.4 Members can receive priority booking of tickets and other ticket-related benefits for performances of productions – such specific benefits will be decided on a production-by-production basis by the Production Committee in place for that production.
1.5 Access from time to time to social events organised by the Social Secretary on behalf of the committee.
1.6 From time to time there will be a Member Only section of the website with its own login details.
2. Members General Rules and Code of Conduct (As referred to in Paragraphs 4 b) (iv) and 4 d) of the Constitution)
2.1 Do not share your login information with non-members and access login is to be used by current members only.
2.2 Do not reproduce any of the information received as part of your membership and share it with non-members.
2.3 Do not post inappropriate, inaccurate, or offensive content to membership forums and discussions.
2.4 Code of Conduct
2.4.1 Respect and Inclusivity
All members will treat each other with kindness, respect, and consideration. We embrace diversity in all its forms and foster an inclusive environment free from discrimination, harassment, or bullying.
2.4.2 Commitment and Responsibility
Punctuality and reliability are essential. Members are expected to attend rehearsals and performances as agreed and to notify relevant team members in advance of any absence.
2.4.3 Teamwork and Collaboration
We value a cooperative spirit. Everyone—cast, crew, and coordinators—is encouraged to contribute ideas and support each other in achieving the best collective outcome.
2.4.4 Communication
Open and respectful communication is key. Concerns should be raised constructively and through the appropriate channels (e.g. Producer, Director, or Committee).
2.4.5 Professionalism and Conduct
We represent our group to the wider community and venues. Members are expected to behave in a way that reflects positively on the group both on and off-stage.
2.4.6 Health and Safety
All members must adhere to venue safety protocols and report any hazards or concerns promptly. Look out for one another.
2.4.7 Rehearsal and Performance Etiquette
Be fully present, prepared, and focused during rehearsals. Respect others’ rehearsal time by avoiding distractions, being quiet backstage, and following the creative team’s guidance.
2.4.8 Property and Shared Resources
Props, costumes, and equipment must be treated with care. Members should help maintain shared spaces and return all borrowed items in good condition.
2.4.9 Creative Integrity
We respect the artistic vision of directors, choreographers, and writers while also encouraging personal expression within established boundaries.
2.4.10 Continuous Improvement
Feedback is welcomed as a tool for growth. We aim to learn, adapt, and become stronger performers and collaborators through every experience.

3. Privacy
3.1 Loddon Players will not share any contact or personal information about the Member with other members, non-members or any third parties without the Members express permission. (This condition will not apply to potential breaches of our Safeguarding Policy).
4. Membership Termination
4.1 Loddon Players acting through a unanimous vote of it’s Committee has a right to terminate membership if any Member is in breach of any of the terms and the conditions governing membership in the Constitution. The Committee decision will be final.
All those applying for membership will be supplied with a copy of this agreement with the Membership Application Form. By applying for membership, you are confirming that you have read, understood and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
