Summary

Our summer production in 1991 was a two part production. 

The first half an Old Time Music Hall 

The second half “Curses Foiled Again” a comedy by Evelyn Hood of a local amateur dramatic group rehearsing a Victorian melodrama.

Compered by Master of Ceremonies Anthony Bunting, it featured dance numbers, songs, monologues, instrumentals and singer soloists,  comedy sketches, and more.

Curses Foiled Again

Synopsis:

Henry’s send up of a Victorian tragic farce is set to be entered in the local drama festival.

The play follows the activities of the drama group during their eve-of-performance dress reherasal, which runs anything but smoothly.
