Following our read through and information evening on 26th August we are excited to announce two audition evenings
Venue – the Lecture Hall, George Lane, Loddon — both starting at 7.30pm:

All roles will require you to sing. To keep things simple, we would like you to sing Happy Birthday (to Nora). Be as creative as you want to be.
Please note the recall day will be 9th September following our AGM. Please advise on the Audition form if you are unavailable
For those who are under 16, there will be separate auditions hosted by Funky Feet School of Dance and Performing Arts. The date is Sunday 27th September at 2.30pm. Venue – Funky Feet Studio – Langley School.

Nora – Dame (Nanny to Sam and Millie) Big-hearted and bold. A feisty, hilarious and fiercely protective nanny with bags of personality, comic timing and plenty of opportunities for audience interaction (Preferably 30 +)
Villager 1 – Sherwood villager who is not afraid to stand up to the Sheriff. Small chorus role (Any age)
Villager 2 – Sherwood villager who is not afraid to stand up to the Sheriff. Small chorus role (Any age)
Villager 3 – Sherwood villager who is not afraid to stand up to the Sheriff. Small chorus role (Any age)
Willy – Assistant to Nora, funny character, Must have good comic timing (Preferably 18 +)
Marian –Â A young woman with a strong moral compass, a quick wit, and a quietly rebellious streak (Preferably 16 +)
Sam – Young, lovable and adventurous, who needs plenty of energy, innocence and good comic timing, Son of Lord Goodheart (Under 16)
Millie – Young, lovable and adventurous, who needs plenty of energy, innocence and good comic timing, Daughter of Lord Goodheart (Under 16)
Puddlefoot – A duck, Fluffy, flapping and waddles with purpose and quacks with attitude. Non speaking role (Over 16)
Sheriff – Smug, sharp‑tongued, power‑hungry; a sneering bully (Preferably 30 +)
Pickle – Henchman to Sheriff – Dim, eager, accident‑prone; loyal muscle with half a brain and twice the enthusiasm    Â

Nettle Fang – (One scene only) An old oak tree, Grumpy and lumbering, Non speaking role (16 +)
Lord Goodheart – A fearless knight, Dignified, gentle, fair‑minded, a noble soul (30 +)
